He opened by saying, “It’s so nice to be back in Glasgow…heh heh, just kidding” with a subtle but noticeable Georgian drawl. He apologized for being a little stuffy, being in recovery from a cold.

He was dressed in a light brown suit with a black shirt. A seven-piece band, including Rosie Thomas and a darn fine saxophonist/clarinetist/flautist, accompanied him. The old songs were played in an updated, very jazzy style, incorporating them into the feel of Kiss Each Other Clean.
It was, in a word, incredible.
